OPENING 20 AUGUST

The blackShed is excited to introduce and welcome SUSAN FYNES to our 2016 Summer post-graduate Program.

Now working professionally, Susan graduated this year from Brighton University with an MA in fine art. Her work is extraordinarily complex; she uses geometry to create composite patterns to echo language and phrases from poetry and ideas drawn from her own stories, which almost without foresight translate into wonderful, awe-inspiring artworks.

What is quickly proving to be a very successful year for Susan, having already attracted a lot of attention, her work is prudently being bought by many collectors, and now on the cuff of a promising career she continues to explore her ideas surrounding pattern making in her debut exhibition here at the blackShed opening on 20 August.
